Since 1982, The Fudge Factory has specialized in hand-dipped chocolates, confections and over 15 varieties of fresh cream & butter fudge. We offer over 70 handmade chocolates and fudges, pralines, and melt in your mouth brittles. Try our local favorite and exclusive Dahlonega Nuggets (pecans in homemade caramel and dipped in chocolate). Seasonally, in-store we offer chocolate-dipped strawberries (Spring/Summer), and caramel-dipped apples (Fall/Winter) featuring local apples from Mercier Orchards in nearby Blue Ridge. For 40 years we have partnered with Georgia farmers for our supply of pecans, peanuts, and apples. Freshness is important to us and that means our products are always changing.
Our store is in downtown Dahlonega, Georgia on the corner of North Park and Main Street. We are open seven days a week, hours vary seasonally.

Our namesake product, cream and butter fudge, is offered in more than 15 varieties, including Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Cheesecake Swirl, Mint Chocolate Swirl, Birthday Cake, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Vanilla Pecan, Milk Chocolate Pecan, Maple Walnut, Rocky Road, Tiger Butter, Butter Brickle, and seasonally, Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Peppermint Crunch.
In addition to our cream and butter fudge, we specialize in hand-dipped chocolates and traditional Southern confections. Some of our in-store favorites are our Dahlonega Nuggets, Peanut Butter Cups, Cloud 9 Pretzels, chocolate-dipped Boar’s Head Bacon, and Pecan Pralines. For mail orders, our customers love any of our fudge flavors, Divinity, Brittle (Pecan, Peanut, or Stout Beer), and Ant Hill Farms bagged coffee.
We have a one-pound minimum for mail orders. Orders are shipped via USPS Monday-Thursday. Chocolates are available year-round for in-store purchases, however, we only ship our chocolate products between November 1-February 28 due to heat conditions during shipping. These are tentative dates and are subject to change. We require 5 consecutive days of 70 degrees or cooler temperatures before we ship chocolates.
