Dahlonega Community Mission

As part of our overall company mission for The Fudge Factory, our Community Mission and involvement is central to our core values. We believe that giving back to the community that supports us is vital to the health of our company and ourselves. Our Community Mission is multi-faceted. It incorporates not only financial giving, but also giving of our time and energy for the betterment of our town and fellow citizens. We are involved with many of our local non-profit organizations to help raise funds for their efforts as well as to spread the word of the good that they do for Dahlonega and Lumpkin County, Georgia. We are currently involved with the United Way of Lumpkin County campaign, which allocates funds to 18 of our local non-profit organizations. We also offer assistance each year through dessert buffets and plates for the Community Helping Place (CHP) Gold Party, which is always a lot of fun and a great cause. For years, we have been involved with the Lumpkin County Family Connection's Taste of the Mountains, which works towards healthy children, school success and self-sufficient families.


We also give of our time by planning and raising the funds for Dahlonega's 4th of July Family Day Celebration. This event brings thousands of families and friends from all over north Georgia to our beautiful mountain town for a day filled with local crafts, patriotic events, a parade, and a classic car show. Our local non-profit organizations are invited to be involved in the Community Service Corner, which allows them to fund raise and tell people about what they do for our community.
